THE FOOD CO-OP

Wanderlust seeks high-quality food vendors of all kinds, with a special focus on local, sustainable, and health-conscious fare. The Food Co-Op is located in the heart of the 108 festivities and is open to the general public.

The Co-Op hours are 10 AM- 5 PM in Calgary, Toronto and Edmonton. These hours are considered mandatory for vendors. Please note that market hours are subject to change in certain cities where permitting restrictions apply. Wanderlust is an eco-aware event, and requires vendors to participate in composting, recycling and other green programs.

Each individual vendor chosen to participate in the Festival will be responsible to meet the local Department of Health rules and regulations for their food service to the public. We will guide you through the process. Each vendor is responsible for their own individual expenses incurred in the setting up and the operating of their food booth including their own liability insurance. A copy of your insurance policy must be submitted to the festival in order to get final approval to attend the festival. All vendors must have food handling permits in good standing.

Potable water and grey water tanks are not provided on site. Vendors are responsible for the proper disposal of all liquid waste in accordance with municipal bylaws. Cooking on site is permitted in Food Trucks only. Food trucks must have seasonal inspections completed at time of application.

BOOTH OPTIONS

Food Vendors have three options for booths at 108. Please keep these in mind as you fill out your application. Once selected, your deposit will go towards the cost of booth.

Wanderlust Tent: A white, pop-up 10×10 tent, supplied with tent walls and weights as required.

Vendor-Provided Tent: Vendor agrees to provide own tent. Cannot exceed 10×10. Tents must be fire retardant CAN/ULC-S109 with affixed label.

Food Truck: Subject to municipal and event site regulations.

Additionally, Wanderlust Festival can provide hand washing sinks, tables, chairs, ice and electricity for an additional cost. Wanderlust does not provide or guarantee access to Wifi. Personal hotspots are recommended for any vendor who relies on internet access. Ferry fees are not included in booth fees (Toronto). Hand washing stations are required in all booths vending non-prepackaged food in accordance with Alberta Health and Safety (Edmonton and Calgary).
